  THRILLER: Hween '21

insta 1.jpeg

In 1983, Michael Jackson's Thriller music video was released. Forty years later people are still learning the iconic choreography by Michael Peters. On Halloweens 2019 and 2021 we 'mobbed' Montpelier's downtown to such delight, it’ll no doubt be another good scream for the third go this year. Especially following Vermont’s disastrous flooding, coming together in the name of the Arts and honoring the shadows that come to play at the thin-veil time of Fall will be extra special.

Shannon Kelly and Emma Manion-Kohr will lead a series of rehearsals in the six weeks leading up to Halloween wherein you'll get a thrilling workout while memorizing those killer moves. The rehearsals will end with a flash mob-style performance on (blocked-off) Langdon street and we’ll be inviting fellow dance artists to present Hween-themed works as well.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN LAP DANCE?!

Season 3 is here!

We're stirring up a New Years Eve showing at The Battery in San Francisco to ring in '18 the RIGHT way..

Modern dance meets spontaneous improvised lap dance performances.  Hilarity ensues.

Emma took home the Bronze as "Reckless Ruthie" from Season 1's competition and once again in Season 2 as "Magic Mike/Magic Dyke."

"ARE YOU THERE CRAIGSLIST? IT'S ME, ______."

Inspired by a collection of Craigslist email exchanges that document a hustle for work to survive as an artist.  Emma is one of four artist commissioned to premier new works that show very different takes on this very personal, diverting text.

Performances are May 27th and 28th!
